Haplochromis pyrrhopteryx van Oijen, 1991, a Lake Victoria endemic cichlid. IUCN Red List classifies it as Critically Endangered, states that it has not been seen since 1983, and notes that it is likely extremely rare and may be extinct. Photo taken 1971 by M.K. Oliver in the London home of BOAC flight engineer Bob Heath, who had recently collected it in the vicinity of Entebbe, Uganda.
